EYFS Teacher - Junior School - Part-Time (maternity cover)

Required for a September 2025 start [for the duration of the maternity leave: approx. 2-terms]

Part time: 2.5 days (Wednesday afternoon, Thursday & Friday)

2-term maternity cover

Reporting to: Head of Junior School

Salary: M1-M4 (£31,650-£38,034)

based on the Academy Trust Board teacher pay scale depending on experience

This is an opportunity for an outstanding EYFS teacher to join our Junior School team and beacon of excellence in girls’ education. The position will be to teach in a Reception class from September 2025 for the duration of the maternity leave period (approximately 2-terms). This position is open to ECTs.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual, eager to make a positive contribution to the aspirational vision for this thriving academy. They will be a dynamic and innovative practitioner who is passionate about teaching and the impact they can have on a young person’s development and all-round education. 

They will also be someone who values working as part of a team to ensure the highest possible standards of achievement and attainment; who can work successfully with colleagues and who has prior experience of working in a Reception class.
